Premier Division Club of the Month August - Guiseley 15/09/2008
The first Premier Division Club of the Month award of the new season went to Guisely who were unbeaten in August. Guiseley won four and drew one of their games as did Ilkeston Town but the Yorkshire side had the better goal difference.
The presentation was made on Tuesday 9th September what was to have been prior to Guiseley’s home league fixture versus Whitby Town but was postponed due to a tremendous downpour an hour before the scheduled kick off.
